# Local Android engine artifacts

This directory is intentionally ignored by git. Put reviewed, pinned native
artifacts here before making a release APK:

- `freeturn.aar` — built from the FreeTurn commit recorded in
  `THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md`.
- `libbox.aar` — fetched from `Leadaxe/sing-box-lx` at the version pinned in
  `native/android/libbox.version` and verified against release `SHA256SUMS`.

`scripts/build-android.sh` extracts `classes.jar` and `jni/*` from each AAR into
the Flet Android extension because Gradle does not allow a direct local AAR
dependency while building the extension AAR. The current APK packages libbox only:
FreeTurn and libbox contain incompatible global gomobile runtime classes. Use
`REQUIRE_NATIVE_ARTIFACTS=1` for a release build.
